How to set up Kobelco GeoScan account

Step 1:

Retrieve the email sent to you by Kobelco which contains your ID and temporary password. This email would have been sent to you shortly after the delivery of your Kobelco excavator.

Your ID and Password will look like this:
ID:    S5327P00001 (example only)
PW:  S5327P00001 (example only)

Step 2:
Visit https://www.kobelco-kenki.com/gmerit/

Step 3:
Click the option to change your password after login. Follow the prompts to change your password and once this is completed click the link above again to login.

Step 4:
Click on the Settings tab in the top right hand corner to register your email address to receive notifications for your machine. Once you click into settings this will be the first option to select from.

Step 5:
Once you have registered your email address, head back to the GeoScan home page. Your company name will appear under the Customer tab in blue (please see highlighted space in screenshot above). Click on your company name.


Step 6:
Once you click onto your company name, it will take you through to a summary of your machines. (See screenshot) Your serial number for each machine will show up in the highlighted area of the below screenshot, as well as an overview of maintenance, fuel level, working hours and alarms. (see note) Click on the serial number for your selected machine to see further details on a particular machine.

Note: If any of the following symbols appear under the maintenance section in the overview:

You may have a scheduled service due or your machine has sensed a fault and issued an alarm. In most instances the machine will recover itself without an action needed to be taken. In this case you will just need to release the alarm. 


Step 7:
Once you have clicked through to the detailed information for a machine, use the tabs at the top of the screen to navigate through your Geoscan account and the data on any of your machines.
